Reed Coke has joined KUNGFU.AI as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Reed previously joined the team as a contractor and we are excited to welcome him as a full-time team member!
Reed earned his B.A. in Computer Science & Linguistics from Swarthmore College and obtained his M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He researched natural language processing topics such as short text clustering and summarization and received publications in ACL, AAAI, and COLING.
Prior to joining KUNGFU.AI, Reed ran his own data science consulting company for several years, accruing substantial experience in legal document understanding, real estate-based conversational agents, and a variety of education-oriented topics. He helped clients at every step of the process including ideation, research and discovery, production implementation, and patent submission. Reed also serves as a technical advisor to Fabulingua, an interactive storybook app that helps young people learn Spanish.
